Roof Replacement

"Fortitude replaced my roof on a cold and windy day. Bill delivered everything he promised. The men started working promptly at 8:00 AM and continued working until they were finished. They did a great job on the roof and cleaned up afterwards. You never would have known that I had two layers of roofing ripped off.

Bill's partner, Kelly, was courteous and promptly responded to any questions that I had as well as any revisions that I made to the agreement.

Home Renovation

"We hired Fortitude because of friend's recommendations and seeing the quality of their work. Bill and Kelly run their business like a well-oiled machine. Everything is in time, and on time. Their crew is trustworthy and courteous. Not to mention highly professional. We had water damage from a couple of roof leaks that got into the walls unnoticed. So we ended up having quite a bit of work done. Almost a full home renovation. Starting with the roof replacement. Then the upstairs bedroom ceilings, walls, and flooring. Then the upstairs bathroom in its entirety. Then came the downstairs. All of the 1st floor floors had to be replaced. Walls removed. Ceilings repaired then the kitchen cabinets counters and sink. Amazing the amount of work that was done in so little time. And everything to perfection! I am certainly glad that I chose Fortitude Contracting to do the job. You will be too!"

Bathroom Remodel

"I had two bathrooms gutted, one went from a half bath to a full bath and the other had been leaking - so neither was a simple gutting. Fortitude did a great job, were very pleasant, and came when they said they were coming. They weren't the least expensive choice - but weren't the most expensive either and I firmly believe their pricing was very fair - they hired licensed plumbers/electricians, I wasn't nickled and dimed when unexpected things were revealed with the gutting, and they provide a professional detailed contract with a warranty. I would recommend them."

Bathroom Remodel

"I am always nervous when using a new contractor but Bill immediately put my nerves at ease. He and his crew arrived each day of the job as promised. As work progressed, he discussed any problems or changes with me. Each day, all construction debris was cleaned up. The job was a complete remodel of my master bathroom which was very old. It wound up being a much bigger job than originally thought with two full walls and parts of the floor needing to be totally reconstructed. Bill treated my house as if it was his own. When he began to take the shower floor apart, he was uncomfortable with the condition of the cement layer under where the new shower basin would go. He decided to jack hammer the entire thing to get a new, smooth surface to work on. This judgment call wound up being a good one as he discovered a hole in the shower drain pipe under the old cement. Had he not made the extra effort, he would have completed our new bathroom and the shower would have continued to leak and damage my home. The finishing work looks amazing. We chose subway tile for the walls, tile in the shower and used a variation of river rock on the shower floor. It looks awesome!

Bill is a man who takes his responsibility to people's homes seriously. His office manager, Kelly, was also a pleasure to deal with. Both are polite and honest. Prices were reasonable as well. Don't hesitate to hire Fortitude Contracting. I will definitely be using them again in the future. Thanks Bill and Kelly!"

"I hired Fortitude Contracting to do a complete gut to my bathroom. The owner of the company (Bill Lubrico) went out of his way to address my concerns from the start until completion. His staff are friendly and professional. The quality of work was excellent. They cleaned up very well and completed the job in a very timely manner. I had ordered a vanity online and when it was delivered with a defect bill was able to find me a new vanity at a better price and quality. I plan to hire them again in the future."

"Bill was pleasant, responsive and had a quick turnaround to schedule an estimate and the eventual work. They ripped and replaced an asphalt shingle roof and flat roll roof. Floor Tile and General Repairs

"We used Bill and his team to rip up and re-tile our foyer and laundry closet. He also did a few small jobs like installing new doors, molding and fixing holes in our ceiling due to a previous water leak. Each day the team showed up on time and ready to get straight to work. Floor Replacement

"Fortitude is the best contractor I’ve ever worked with. They removed and replaced 550 square feet of flooring, three rooms, a hallway and four closets. They removed all baseboards and reinstalled and caulked them. They even set back my furniture and set back up cable boxes and video games. They put the mattress back on my bed. They left my home very clean at the end of each day. The guys were respectful, polite and a pleasure to have in my home. Bill is the owner and easy to talk to and on time for appointments. I can’t say enough good things about them. Looking forward to my next project with Fortitude Contracting!!"

Roof Replacement

"The old roof (under the shingles) was from the original structure built in 1934. It was tongue and grooved planking. The old tar paper and a lot of the shingles were melted to it. Making it so the roof had to be removed down to the rafters. And new plywood replacement installed. Amazingly, Bill and his crew banged out the entire job in ONE day!!! Bill and Kelly run an efficient, friendly, courteous, and most importantly! Thorough contracting company. That encompass all aspects of today's modern construction methods. Bathroom Remodeling

"It went extremely well. We started to interview some bathroom remodeling contractors and looked at Angie's List and Home Advisor and other online home services. After interviewing several companies, we decided working with Fortitude Contracting since the owner Bill spent hours with us discussing our needs, providing creative ideas, offering a detail proposal and contract, and a fair price for the project including an easy payment plan. The project started on time and Bill provided a removable dumpster on wheels and porter potty. He also had his men lay down protective ram board throughout the path to the bathroom and they covered all the furniture in the adjacent bedroom. His men were promptly here every morning at eight O'clock, and Bill followed to oversee his crew which including sub-contractors, plumber, electrician, and so forth. The crew was professional, courteous and cleaned up every day. Bill and his office manager, Kelly were always available and helpful to us whenever we wanted to discuss any issues related to the project. Kelly provided us with eight people who actually had bathrooms completed by Fortitude Contracting. We contacted each one and received glowing reports as to their reliability. The project was completed on time as promised and we are extremely pleased with its outcome. My wife and I highly recommend Fortitude Contracting. Bill and Kelly are very honest, reliable, and trustworthy and they are a pleasure to work with. We intend to use Fortitude Contracting for several other projects in our home."
